I registered for the Burnsall Trail Half Marathon this year. When I arrived for the race this morning, there was nobody about. I checked my email to make sure that I had the starting point right. I did. Just the wrong date; the race was yesterday. As the weather was beautiful, I ran the route anyway!
The swallows have arrived and were sitting on the telephone line as I ran out of the village. I think they were laughing at me.
